    • Government of Telangana has accorded permission to the Commissioner, Department of Employment and Training, TS, Hyderabad to make online Admissions in to all the Government ITIs, RITIs, Minority ITIs and Private ITI’s in the State vide in the G.O.Rt.No. 311, LET&F Department, Dated: 29-04-2017 subject to the Admission calendar issued by the Directorate General of Training (DGT), New Delhi from the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship of Government of India. Accordingly, this Department is releasing the notifications held once in a year to allow the admissions for eligible ITI’s of each year since 2017 through online.
    • Further, Government vide G.O.Ms. No:2, Dt: 08-03-2024  have accorded Administrative sanction for transforming all the Government ITI’s as Advanced Technology Centre (ATCs) by Introducing 6 CTS Trades that are as per Industry 4.0 standard for up skilling youth for higher employability in Telangana State by entering Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with M/s. TATA Technologies Limited (TTL). Accordingly 25 ATC’s have been affiliated and Admissions have been allowed in these 25 ATCs from the Admission Session 2024-25.
    • The Industrial Training Institutes imparts training through the Craftsman Training Scheme (CTS) which was introduced in the year 1950 by the Government of India to ensure a steady flow of skilled workers in different trades for the domestic industry.
    • The Industrial Training Institutes play a vital role in economy of the country especially in terms of providing skilled manpower and established to ensure a steady flow of skilled workers in different trades for the domestic industry to raise the industrial production quantitatively and qualitatively by systematic training and to reduce unemployment among the educated youth by providing the employable training and to cultivate & nurture a technical & industrial attitude in the minds of younger generation.
    • In this training period, about 70% is allotted to Trade Practical and the rest to Theoretical Subjects relating to Trade Theory, Workshop Calculation & Science, Engineering Drawing, and Employability Skills.
